Food Pantry

About the Parkway Church Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry operates as a direct distribution center in Woodbridge for those in the community who are facing food insecurity. We provide nutritious food to individuals and families in need. Unlike food banks, which store and distribute food to agencies, we directly serve the community to ensure that those facing hunger receive the assistance they need promptly. Our mission aligns with our core belief in restoring relationships with God and others, as we strive to support our neighbors in need.

How to Receive Food

The Food Pantry is located at Parkway Church, 3713 Pennington Lane, Woodbridge, VA 22192.

  • Monthly Distribution: The 4th Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. we host a food distribution event to serve as many families as possible.
  • Weekly Distribution (as available): When food supplies allow, we will also hold weekly food distributions on Thursday evenings for those needing extra support. Availability will be announced via our text systems, social media or church website.
  • No pre-registration required
  • Walk-ins are welcome!
  • Please bring a valid ID and proof of residency (if available). Services are confidential and open to all regardless of background and we welcome everyone with compassion and respect.
  • To receive immediate notifications about food distribution dates, text “FOOD” or “COMIDA” to (703) 590-5199.

Ways to Get Involved

We rely on the generosity of our community to keep the Food Pantry stocked and operational. Here’s how you can contribute:
